Covey College of Allied Health Professions 50th Anniversary Celebration Event

In 2025, the Pat Capps Covey College of Allied Health Professions proudly celebrated its 50th anniversary, marking five decades of preparing skilled, compassionate healthcare professionals and advancing research that improves health outcomes for all.

This milestone provided an opportunity to reflect on the people and partnerships that have shaped the College’s legacy. For 50 years, Covey College faculty have prepared students to lead with knowledge, skill and compassion in clinics, hospitals, classrooms, laboratories and communities across the region and beyond. That work has been strengthened by the dedication of staff, the support of alumni and retirees, and the generosity of clinical and community partners who help extend learning beyond campus.

Since its founding, the College has prepared more than 12,000 scientists and healthcare professionals whose work continues to touch lives every day.

As the College celebrated this milestone, it also looked ahead to the future with gratitude and purpose. The 50th anniversary was not only a celebration of Covey College’s history, but also a reminder of the strong foundation that will carry it into its next chapter of excellence.
